By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Qodesh Privacy Policy.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
By creating an account, accessing Qodesh, or using its features, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them.
Certain features may be subject to additional rules presented at the time of use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Service.
Material changes to these Terms may be communicated through the Service, by email, or through another appropriate channel.
When required by applicable law or due to the nature of a change, Qodesh may request that you provide your consent again.
3. Eligibility and Minors
Qodesh is not directed at children under the age of 13.
Users under the age of 18 must use the Service with the knowledge, authorization, or supervision of their parents or legal guardians whenever required by applicable law.
The processing of children's and adolescents' personal data will comply with applicable law and take their best interests into account.
4. User Accounts
Some Qodesh features require the creation of an account.
By creating an account, you agree to:
provide truthful and up-to-date information;
keep your login details secure;
not share authentication credentials in an insecure manner;
not knowingly allow unauthorized use of your account;
notify Qodesh if you identify unauthorized access or a compromise of your credentials.
Each user is responsible for activities carried out through their account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Qodesh may implement additional authentication and security measures.
5. Nature of Qodesh
Qodesh is a tool for study, organization, research, and interaction.
Content available through the Service may include original texts, translations, transcriptions, historical commentaries, modern commentaries, linguistic information, interpretations, user-generated content, and content produced or assisted by computer systems or artificial intelligence.
Different traditions, manuscripts, schools of interpretation, calendars, translations, or sources may contain discrepancies.
Qodesh does not guarantee that any single interpretation represents a religious, historical, linguistic, or academic consensus.
Whenever possible, the platform seeks to provide sources and context so that users can evaluate information for themselves.
6. Religious Content and Personal Decisions
Qodesh is an educational and study tool.
The content provided does not constitute rabbinical advice, a halachic ruling, or legal, medical, financial, psychological, or professional advice.
Computational tools, commentaries, translations, Gematria, associations between texts, and responses generated by artificial intelligence may contain errors, omissions, or debatable interpretations.
When a religious or practical decision requires a competent authority, users should seek appropriate guidance from a qualified person in accordance with their own tradition and community.
7. Library, Texts, Translations, and Commentaries
Content available on Qodesh may come from different sources and be subject to different intellectual property arrangements.
Certain texts may:
be in the public domain;
belong to Qodesh itself;
belong to their respective authors or rights holders;
be used under license;
be made available under open licenses, including Creative Commons licenses;
be subject to specific attribution or reuse requirements.
The presence of content on Qodesh does not mean that all content on the platform may be freely copied, redistributed, or used commercially.
Where content is subject to a specific license, that license will govern its reuse.
Users are responsible for respecting copyrights, attribution requirements, trademarks, and other applicable rights.
8. Dictionary and Linguistic Resources
Qodesh may provide definitions, roots, transliterations, translations, occurrences, linguistic relationships, and other information related to words and expressions.
This information is provided for reference and study purposes.
A word may have different meanings depending on the historical period, context, textual tradition, grammatical construction, or school of interpretation.
Information presented in the dictionary should not, on its own, be regarded as a definitive interpretation of a text.
9. Gematria
Qodesh may offer tools for calculating, recording, comparing, exploring, and publishing Gematria.
There are different methods and traditions for calculating Gematria. Results may vary depending on the chosen system, spelling used, normalization rules, characters considered, or other methodological rules.
Qodesh may identify the method used for each calculation whenever technically applicable.
Numerical similarities found through these tools do not, in themselves, constitute a historical, scientific, theological, or causal assertion by Qodesh.
Depending on the available features, users may:
perform calculations;
save calculations;
keep calculations private;
share calculations;
publish certain calculations in community areas.
Visibility will be determined by the settings and options presented to users.
10. Study Trails
Users may create, follow, save, and, where available, share Trails.
Trails may contain references to texts, commentaries, platform content, and content created by users themselves.
Creators are responsible for any original content they add to a Trail and must hold the rights necessary to publish or share it.
When a Trail is made public or shared, other users may view it in accordance with the features made available by Qodesh.
11. Journey and Study Progress
Qodesh may record information about reading activity, progress, streaks, activities, and other interactions to provide tracking features referred to, among other names, as Journey.
These indicators are tools for organization and motivation.
Percentages, streaks, reading statuses, and similar metrics may depend on technical events recorded by the platform and may occasionally contain discrepancies or errors.
Qodesh may correct calculations or records when technical inconsistencies are identified.
12. Memories
The Memories feature allows users to associate events, dates, descriptions, or personal reflections with elements of their studies and the calendar.
A Memory may include information about the user or third parties.
Users are responsible for not entering, publishing, or sharing third parties' personal information unlawfully or without authorization when such authorization is required.
Depending on the information included, a Memory may contain personal data of an intimate or sensitive nature.
Qodesh will process this information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
12.1 Calendar Associations
Qodesh may link Gregorian and Hebrew dates to parashot, holidays, readings, cycles, and other events in the Jewish calendar.
These associations are generated using calendar mechanisms and sources employed by the platform.
Results may vary according to factors such as:
the calendar used in Israel or the Diaspora;
holidays;
special readings;
community customs;
differences between reading cycles;
time, location, or date conversion;
calendar sources used.
These associations are intended for study and organization and do not constitute definitive religious rulings.
13. Notes, Favorites, and Personal Content
Qodesh may allow users to save favorites, notes, annotations, Memories, Gematria calculations, Trails, and other content associated with their accounts.
The visibility of this content will depend on the feature and the settings presented to users.
Content designated as private will not be made publicly available at Qodesh's discretion, except where necessary for operation, security, compliance with legal obligations, or as described in the Privacy Policy.
Users should check their visibility settings before publishing or sharing personal information.
14. Circles, Connections, and Social Features
Qodesh may offer features that allow users to find, follow, connect with, or interact with other users.
Depending on the feature, certain profile information or activities may become visible to other users.
By initiating or accepting a connection, users acknowledge that information expressly identified by the interface as shared may be displayed to people authorized through that relationship.
Qodesh may introduce blocking, disconnection, reporting, privacy, and visibility control features.
Using Circles or connections for harassment, stalking, spam, fraud, or abusive collection of information is prohibited.
15. User-Generated Content
Users may create or publish content, including commentaries, interpretations, Trails, Gematria calculations, community posts, texts, and other materials.
You retain ownership of any rights you hold in the content you create.
By making content available within Qodesh, you grant Qodesh a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, limited to what is necessary to:
store it;
process it;
format it;
technically reproduce it;
display it;
distribute it within the features you have chosen;
create backup copies;
moderate it;
and operate the Service.
This license does not transfer ownership of the content's intellectual property to Qodesh.
Content made public may continue to exist in copies, references, technical histories, or shares previously made by other users, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you hold the necessary rights to the materials you publish.
16. Artificial Intelligence
Qodesh may use or integrate artificial intelligence technologies for research, information retrieval, content explanation, establishing connections between sources, or other features.
Artificial intelligence systems are probabilistic and may produce incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate information.
AI-generated responses do not necessarily represent the views of Qodesh, its authors, commentators, or cited sources.
Users should critically evaluate responses and, where relevant, consult the cited sources directly.
Qodesh may indicate when particular content has been created or assisted by AI whenever this is relevant to understanding it.
17. Integrations with Artificial Intelligence, APIs, and MCP
Qodesh may allow users to connect their accounts to external services, including artificial intelligence assistants, applications, APIs, and clients compatible with protocols such as the Model Context Protocol ("MCP").
These integrations may allow a service authorized by the user to retrieve information or request actions in Qodesh.
Available capabilities will depend on the permissions, features, and scopes granted to the integration.
They may include, for example, access to or interaction with:
favorites;
notes;
Memories;
Trails;
Gematria;
connections;
community content;
the library;
study resources;
or other features made available in the future.
17.1 Authorization
By connecting an external service to their account, users authorize Qodesh to permit operations corresponding to the permissions granted.
When a valid request is received through an integration authenticated and authorized by the user, Qodesh may treat it as an instruction issued on behalf of that user, within the limits of the authorization granted.
Qodesh may require additional confirmations for certain operations whenever it considers them necessary for security, privacy, or product-related reasons.
17.2 Third-Party Services
An artificial intelligence service, application, or client used to access Qodesh is an independent service when it is not operated by Qodesh itself.
Its operation may be subject to the respective provider's terms of use and privacy policies.
Information sent from Qodesh to an external service at the user's request may subsequently be processed by that service's provider in accordance with its own policies.
Users should evaluate the permissions requested before authorizing an integration.
17.3 Revocation
Users may revoke or disconnect integrations using the mechanisms provided by Qodesh.
Following revocation, new requests using that authorization must no longer be accepted.
Revoking authorization in Qodesh does not necessarily delete data that was lawfully transferred to an external service before revocation. The third party's processing of such data will be subject to that service's rules and applicable law.
17.4 AI Results and Actions
An external artificial intelligence system may misinterpret a user's intent.
Users should carefully review requests involving the creation, modification, sharing, or deletion of information.
Qodesh does not control content generated by independent artificial intelligence services.
Where technically feasible and appropriate, Qodesh may implement confirmation, scope limitation, auditing, or security mechanisms to reduce risks associated with integrations.
17.5 Availability
Qodesh does not guarantee ongoing compatibility with any AI assistant, client, protocol, API version, or external provider.
Integrations may be modified, limited, suspended, or discontinued for technical, security, legal, or operational reasons.
18. Qodesh Intellectual Property
Except for content belonging to users or third parties, content in the public domain, or content subject to specific licenses, Qodesh or its respective licensors hold the rights to elements such as:
software;
interfaces;
design;
visual identity;
brand;
logos;
platform structure;
features;
documentation;
organized databases and other elements protected by intellectual property rights.
Nothing in these Terms grants any right to use Qodesh trademarks or identity beyond what is necessary for normal use of the Service.
19. Automated Use, APIs, and Data Collection
It is not permitted to use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated mechanisms in a manner intended to:
impair platform availability;
circumvent technical limits;
access non-public information;
extract users' personal data;
substantially reproduce protected databases;
bypass authentication systems;
or operate in violation of these Terms.
Automated uses expressly made available by Qodesh through APIs, MCP, or other authorized interfaces are permitted within their respective technical limits and applicable rules.
20. Prohibited Conduct
When using Qodesh, you agree not to:
harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users;
promote hate speech or unlawful violence;
engage in bullying or abuse;
send spam or abusive communications;
fraudulently impersonate another person or organization;
unlawfully disclose third parties' personal data;
use information obtained through the Service for stalking, fraud, or exploitation;
publish content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights;
publish illegal content;
distribute malware or malicious code;
attempt to access unauthorized accounts or areas;
exploit vulnerabilities for malicious purposes;
interfere with the operation of the infrastructure;
circumvent authentication mechanisms, usage limits, or security measures;
use integrations, APIs, or MCP to gain unauthorized access;
use third-party accounts, tokens, or credentials without authorization;
or use the Service for activities that violate applicable law.
21. Security and Vulnerability Research
Qodesh values responsible reports of potential security vulnerabilities.
Users must not exploit, disclose, or use vulnerabilities for the purpose of gaining unauthorized access, causing harm, or compromising users.
Responsible reports may be submitted to:
[SECURITY CONTACT]
Qodesh may establish a dedicated responsible vulnerability disclosure policy in the future.
22. Moderation
To protect the community, users, and operation of the Service, Qodesh may review content or activities when necessary in connection with:
reports;
security;
fraud;
abuse;
violations of these Terms;
violations of third-party rights;
or compliance with legal obligations.
Depending on the severity and circumstances, Qodesh may:
remove content or limit its visibility;
issue warnings;
restrict features;
suspend accounts;
terminate accounts;
preserve records when necessary;
or notify competent authorities when required or permitted by law.
Good-faith criticism, religious differences, or disagreements over interpretation do not, in themselves, constitute violations of these Terms.
23. Reports and Intellectual Property
If you believe that content available on Qodesh violates your copyrights, personality rights, privacy, or other rights, you may request a review through the following channel:
[LEGAL / COPYRIGHT CONTACT]
The request must contain sufficient information to identify the content and the right allegedly violated.
Qodesh will review requests and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.
24. Third-Party Services and Content
Qodesh may integrate or provide links to content or services offered by third parties.
These services may have their own terms, policies, and conditions.
Qodesh does not control independent external services and is not responsible for their operation, availability, or practices, except where otherwise required by law.
The presence of a link, integration, or reference does not necessarily imply endorsement or a partnership.
25. Changes to the Service
Qodesh is under continuous development.
Features may be:
created;
modified;
replaced;
limited;
discontinued;
or made temporarily unavailable.
Whenever a change has a significant material impact on users, Qodesh will seek to communicate the change appropriately whenever reasonably possible.
26. Availability and Failures
Qodesh seeks to keep the Service available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Interruptions may occur due to:
maintenance;
technical failures;
infrastructure issues;
third-party services;
attacks;
updates;
events beyond Qodesh's reasonable control;
or other factors.
Qodesh may establish limits on storage, requests, API usage, MCP usage, or other features to preserve security and availability.
27. Account Termination
Users may stop using Qodesh and, where available, request the closure of their accounts.
Qodesh may suspend or terminate accounts in circumstances such as:
violations of these Terms;
fraud;
security risks;
serious abuse;
unlawful use;
or legal orders.
Information associated with a closed account will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Previously published or shared content may remain available where there is a lawful basis or legitimate need to retain it, including for recordkeeping, third-party rights, the integrity of conversations, or legal obligations.
28. Privacy and Data Protection
Qodesh's processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
Certain interactions with the Service may reveal information relating to a user's life, beliefs, interests, relationships, or practices.
Qodesh will process this information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Before using community features or external integrations, users should consider the nature of the information they wish to share.
29. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and its content are provided as available.
Although Qodesh strives for quality and accuracy, we do not guarantee that:
all content is free from errors;
all translations are undisputed;
all commentaries are up to date;
all calendar associations are correct;
all Gematria results represent valid interpretations;
all AI-generated content is correct;
or the Service will be permanently available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
30. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Qodesh will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising solely from:
temporary interruptions of the Service;
reliance on incorrect content produced by third parties or automated systems;
misuse of an account by the user themselves;
independent external services;
or decisions made exclusively on the basis of educational content presented on the platform.
This clause does not limit or exclude liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including with respect to data protection, consumer rights, liability arising from intentional misconduct, or other legally protected circumstances.
31. Changes to These Terms
Qodesh may update these Terms to reflect:
new features;
legal changes;
technical changes;
security changes;
or the evolution of the Service.
The date of the last update will be indicated at the beginning of the document.
Material changes may be communicated to users.
When required by law or appropriate due to the nature of a change, users may be asked to agree again.
32. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms will be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the user and the operation of the Service.
Where applicable, particularly in relationships protected by Brazilian consumer and data protection laws, rights and jurisdictional protections that cannot be waived by contract will be preserved.
Before taking legal action, users and Qodesh may seek an amicable resolution through official support channels.
33. General Provisions
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other expressly incorporated policies, constitute the set of rules applicable to the use of Qodesh.
If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Qodesh's failure to exercise a right on any occasion does not constitute a permanent waiver of that right.
Users do not acquire any employment, corporate, agency, or partnership relationship with Qodesh by using the Service or contributing to it.
